www.vintagecaravans.com will be holding its annual gathering of pre 1970s Caravans at Coledale Beach Camping Reserve ( about 1/2hr north of Wollongong NSW). from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th October 2008.
Previous events have seen over 50 old vans dating back to the 1930s towed by period tow cars, hot rods and classic cars attend this event and camp over the weekend.

Admission is free!!!
All we ask is that you make a donation in our charity tin.

This years nominated charity to benefit from funds raised at this event will be Apex - "Destiny" foundation . Destiny work with disadvantage youth to help them get back on track with their lives.

So come along and see just how granny and grandad use to spend the travelling holidays .
This display is a perfect reminder of "Australia's touring Heritage"

Meet at Loftus Oval 9.30am for a 10am start. We will drive through the National Park and down the coast road to get to the event.

It was a wonderful summers day, there were plenty of vintage caravans and old cars (lots of old Holdens) and we even spotted a whale passing by on its southern migration. Photos to come.
